3.5x5.5" vintage matte postcard depicting 11 town ballplayers in full uniform along w/their manager (who is dressed in formal attire) on ballfield w/period baseball equipment visible in foreground. "Anglo Am Post Card Co., New York" production credit on back. "Evergreen Baseball Team 1909" text along front bottom w/player identifications printed below their location in photo. "Union Town, Ala." handwritten pencil note at lower right. Divided back has been postally used w/Sept. 14, 1909 cancellation stamp date. Several creases and surface wrinkles visible at all corners along w/lt. edge chipping. VG. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
