3.5x5.5" vintage matte postcard depicting 12 ballplayers in full uniform along w/two gentlemen in formal attire on grass field. "Mercersburg Base Ball Team 1908" caption at bottom. This club appears to be a well-organized town ball team, likely barnstorming throughout Pennsylvania as was common during that time period. Divided postcard back remains blank and unused. Exc. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
