Item Description
3.5x5.5" vintage glossy postcard depicts the 1964 Los Angeles Dodgers baseball club posed along the third base line at Dodgers Stadium in Los Angeles, CA. "Plastichrome By Colourpicture Publishers, Inc., Boston 30, Mass., U.S.A. - Distributed By Mitock & Sons,  13561 Ventura Blvd., Sherman Oaks, Calif." production credit on back (also noting "Color By Emil Cuhel"). That season's roster included four members of the Baseball HOF were part of that ball club - Sandy Koufax (seated in third row, third from left), Don Drysdale (standing in second row, fourth from left), Walter Alston (kneeling in front row, center) and Leo Durocher. Other notable Dodgers from that team include - Doug Camilli, Tommy Davis, Willie Davis, Jim Gilliam, Frank Howard, Wes Parker, Johnny Podres, Maury Wills and Pete Reiser. This ball club would go on to finish in sixth place in the NL, w/a final record of 80-82. This postcard would have been sold at Dodgers Stadium during the 1964 baseball season.
