Item Description
3.5x5.25" vintage matte colorized postcard depicting a baseball scene w/pitcher, batter, catcher, umpire and left side of the field. "©1912 Burgess" caption at bottom. Back of postcard indicates item was used for promotional purposes by "Newburgh's Model Laundry - Matchless Steam Laundry and Carpet Cleaning Co." of Newburgh, NY. May 1913 calendar on back in the upper left corner. Postcard exhibits even lt. corner tip wear and has been neatly hand addressed in ink and was postally used w/cancellation across the 1¢ stamp. VF. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
