3.5x5.5" vintage glossy postcard depicts 16 team members in full uniform posed inside baseball stadium. "Boise Pilots - Season 1941"caption at bottom. The 1941 Boise Pilots club played in the Class C - Pioneer League, finishing in first place that season w/a record of 81-49 under Manager Jim Keesey. Four members from this team would go on to play MLB - Gerry Staley, Jack Radtke, Frank Lamanske and Jim Keesey. Image quality of this photo is superb, very lt., even corner wear. EKC stamp box on back indicates a production time of 1930-50, which is consistent w/the subject matter. VF/Exc. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
