Item Description
3-3/8x5.5" vintage matte postcard depicts 11 team members in full uniform posed in front of residential area. "Marysville Base Ball Team, 1917" caption under photo along w/all individuals identified along w/their location in the photo. Back of postcard contains remnants of a prior attachment. Handwritten pencil notation on back reads "Marysville, Kansas" and AZO stamp box dates postcard to 1904-18 which is consistent w/the subject matter. Corners display moderate, even wear. Faint diagonal crease just left of center. Fine overall. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
