Item Description
7x10" vintage glossy photo depicts 19 ballplayers in full uniform along w/gentleman in casual sportswear posed on grass field. "Studio-Mi Botecito Photo-Revelamos Rollos de Todas Clases - Reina 260 M-5411" photographer's stamp on back. Uniform style dates photo to the 1940s, team includes African-American and Hispanic ballplayers. We have been unable to identify the origin of this team but would make a good research project for the serious Winter League baseball enthusiast. Image quality of photo is excellent, displays numerous creases and surface wrinkles throughout along w/scattered lt. foxing across back. Good. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
