Item Description
8x10.25" vintage glossy photo depicting six Brooklyn Dodgers ballplayers in full uniform w/baseball bats. Attached paper caption at bottom identifies all six along w/their photo location. Photographer's stamp on the back indicates "Associated Press Photo." Pictured from left to right are - Buddy Hassett, Kiki Cuyler (HOF), Heinie Manush (HOF), Gibby Brack, Tom Winsett and Babe Phelps. The 1938 Dodgers would finish their season in seventh place in the NL w/a record of 69-80. Quality of image is excellent, photo exhibits numerous surface wrinkles/creases. Back of photo exhibits remnants of paper caption removal at corners. VG. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
