Item Description
See #708 for details. Rare. Hank Gowdy is another of the more obscure players included in this known 10 button set. Regarded as a pretty decent hitting catcher in his day, Gowdy began his MLB career with the New York Giants briefly in 1910-11 before moving on to the Boston Braves, where he would spend the next ten seasons before going back to the Giants from 1923-25. Perimeter has faint age marks from 2-7 o'clock. Surface has about a dozen very slight raised bumps noticeable to the touch but hardly seen. Fine. Paul Muchinsky Collection.
