Item Description
3.25x5-3/8" vintage matte postcard depicting 11 ballplayers in full uniform posed portraits inside ovals and squares superimposed on a baseball diamond. Photographer's credit in lower right-hand corner reads "Merrill Photo". Notation at bottom of photo reads "Radcliffes Of Norway-Premier Semi-Professional Base Ball Team-Maine-1909". All players are identified by last name and position on the field underneath their respective images. Clarity of image is superb, there are no significant condition issues to note. Divided back remains blank and unused with a small "30" hand written in ink in the upper right-hand corner. AZO stamp box dates the postcard to 1904-18, which is consistent with the subject matter presented. VF. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
