Item Description
3.5x5.5" vintage colorized postcard depicting 25 ballplayers in full uniform along with one gentleman dressed in formal attire and posed on a ballfield. Production credit on back reads "Tichnor Quality Views". Caption printed at top of postcard reads "Indianapolis Base Ball Club, Winter Home at Plant City, Fla. The Indianapolis Indians were an independent professional baseball club formed in 1902 and remaining active for the entire 20th century. Throughout the 1930s, the Indians team was one of the better ball clubs in the American Association. Postcard exhibits lt., even wear on corners. Divided back remains blank and unused. VF.
