Item Description
7.5x10" vintage matte photo depicting 22 team members in full uniform posed on a ball field with Broadcaster, Byrum Saam of WCCO, pictured in the lower left-hand corner. All team members are identified in the bottom right-hand corner based on their location in the photo. The 1936 Minneapolis Millers competed in the Class AA American Association, finishing in fifth place with a record of 78-76 under manager Donie Bush. The 1936 Millers had an astounding total of 23 ballplayers go on to play Major League baseball with the most notable being: Buzz Arlett, Adam Comorosky, Pinky Hargrave, Joe Hauser, Ray Kolp, Al Milnar, Rosy Ryan, Fresco Thompson and Jimmy Wasdell. Image clarity of the photo is superb, there are no significant condition issues to note. VF. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
