Item Description
8.25x10" vintage glossy silver gelatin photo depicting nine ballplayers in full uniform along with one child greeting an apparent home run hitter at home plate. Photographer's stamp on back reads "El Caribe, Ciudad Trujillo, R.D., Exclusive". Ballplayers pictured are identified by hand on back of photo: Milton Will, Chico Conton, Walter James, Pella Santos, P. Matos, A. Matos and Papo Beiyoma. Nice action shot, and Dominican baseball images from the first half of the 20th century are quite rare. Clarity of this photo is excellent. There are no significant condition issues to note. VF. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
