Item Description
8x13-5/8" superb high quality matte finish, panorama-style photo depicting 23 ballplayers and trainer. Great image of the NY Yankees Minor League affiliate and from the golden era of this franchise. Many players from 1938 were also on the 1937 team which is considered by many to be the greatest Minor League team ever assembled. Lower right has photographer ink note "Morgan 1938". Reverse has "Ralph Morgan Newspictures" ink stamp. Includes front row left to right: Doc Mack (trainer), Buddy Rosar, Charlie Keller, Leo Norris, Merrill May, Buddy Blair, John Neun, Mickey Witek, Billy Holm, "Ham" Schulte, Frank Kelleher, Bernie Bengough. Back row left to right: Lee Stine, Norman Branch, Mike Chartok, Jim Gleeson, Nick Strinevich, M. "Russ" Russo, Jack Fallon, Phil Page, John Haley, Leo Scarsella, Joe Beggs, Atley Donald.
