Item Description
3.25x5.5" plain postcard has been signed in black or blue ink by 18 members of the 1948 Washington Senators. Signatures include HOF members Early Wynn and Coach Rick Ferrell. Other key players include - Mickey Vernon, Manager Joe Kuhel, Ray Scarborough, Eddie Yost, Ed "Bud" Stewart, Tom Ferrick and John Sullivan. 1948 was the first Senators season to be broadcast on TV, w/Bob Wolff in the booth for gameday broadcasts on WTTG-TV. Card has been hand-addressed on back and bears June 5, 1948 postmark. All signatures remain bold and strong. Postcard has some minor corner wear and is VF/Exc. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
