Item Description
3.25x5.5" plain postcard has been signed in black ink by 10 members of the 1948 New York Giants. Signatures include HOF member Johnny Mize. Other signatures are - Clint Hartung, Ray Poat, Willard Marshall, Sheldon Jones, Wes Westrum, Dave Koslo, Bobby Rhawn, Les Layton and Bill Rigney. The Giants would leave their beloved Polo Grounds after the 1957 season, relocating to San Francisco. Card has been hand-addressed on back and bears May 27, 1948 postmark. All signatures remain bold and strong. Postcard has some corner/edge wear and is Fine/VF overall but signatures display Exc. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA. Richard Merkin Collection.
