Item Description
Vintage glossy 8x10.25" promotional photo shows Nelson Fox (1927-1975), who played MLB from 1947 through 1965 and spent the majority of his career as a member of the Chicago White Sox; his career was bookended by multi-year stints for the Philadelphia Athletics (1947-1949) and, later, the Houston Colt .45s/Astros (1964-1965). Fox was a 15-time All-Star, AL MVP and was elected to the National Baseball HOF in 1997. Fox is shown in his Colt .45s uniform and has signed in black ink, adding "Best Wishes" inscription. While inscription/signature are a bit lt., both remain legible. Photo has some handling wear along top margin and shows some corner tip wear. Fine/VF. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
