Item Description
Jackie Robinson (1919-1972), one of baseball's all-time greats and biggest celebrities, became the first African American to cross the color barrier and play in the MLB in the modern era. A six-time All-Star, 1947 MLB Rookie of the Year, 1949 NL MVP and 1955 World Series champ, Robinson was elected to the National Baseball HOF in 1962. Offered here is 9x12" matte w/magazine image of Robinson in Dodgers uniform, w/1.75x2.75" opening below this displaying black ink "Best Wishes" inscription and Robinson's signature. 3.5x5" index card (Robinson has signed on unlined back) can easily be removed from matte if so desired, o/w Exc. and ready for framing. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
