Item Description
3.5"x5.5" vintage matte postcard depicting 10 ballplayers in full uniform along with one gentleman dressed in formal attire and posed on a baseball field. Caption at bottom of photo reads "Williams Valley League - 1908 B.B. Club Orwin, Pa." We have been unable to find any info indicating that this team/league was on a professional level so we are assuming that they were a semi-pro, town ball club that would take on all comers in the local PA area. Image quality of this photograph is superb, divided postcard back remains blank and unused. There are no significant condition issues to note. Exc. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
