Item Description
3.5"x5.5" vintage matte postcard depicting 11 ballplayers in full uniform along with their manager standing in back row, center with period baseball equipment on display in the foreground. All team members are identified by last name at the bottom of the photo with the school being better noted for their excellent college basketball program over the years. Postcard exhibits a vertical crease down the center which spans the entire width of the card along with moderate, even corner wear and various scattered lighter creasing throughout. Divided postcard back has been postally used with a cancellation date stamp of May 31, 1909 from Collegeville, Indiana. VG. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
