3.5"x5-3/8" vintage matte postcard depicting a "View of Athletic Field. Hershey, PA. Home of Hershey Chocolate Co." as notated in the lower right-hand corner. Photo taken from the left-center field area and includes fielding team as well as stands and standing room only patrons in attendance. Milton Hershey established his chocolate company at the turn of the 20th Century, including building everything that would be needed for his employees to live in town, with education and recreation at the forefront. Divided postcard back remains blank and unused. Some lt. foxing visible on back. VF. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
