Item Description
Accompany postcard to the previous item. 3-3/8"x5-3/8" vintage matte postcard depicting the entrance to Manati Cuban baseball stadium at top and a full-body image of an unidentified Manati team member drinking while tossing aside headshots of the opposing ball club players into a bucket, indicating the fact that they were not very good. Photographer's credit in the lower left-hand corner on front reads "Silva" while a date of Nov. 4, 1928 appears in the lower right-hand corner. Undivided postcard back remains blank and unused. AZO stamp box dates this postcard to 1924-49, which is consistent with the subject matter pictured. VF. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
