Item Description
All brass ring with adjustable bands with raised text "Robbins Co./Attleboro" on underside of ring top. Top of each band has a single wing design and top panel reads "Sprague/Wilson/Pilot/Flying/Club". Ring comes with two photocopies of newspaper ads from the Fitchburg Sentinel with full details on the club which allowed "Air-Minded People To Learn To Fly Without Cost" and "Airplane Trips At No Cost". In addition to this member's ring, there was a lapel emblem, a Pilot Book to collect point stamps and "Ace's Wings" given for a full stamp book as well as airplane rides over Fitchburg/Leominster (one book), ride from Boston Airport (three books), even flight to New York City (12 books). One lower prong is missing luster coating but about 70% luster intact. A first seen rarity and VF.
