Item Description
12-1/8x16-7/8" artboard w/pen and ink original art (in landscape format as opposed to usual vertical format) by Sad Sack creator George Baker (1915-1975) for Sad Sack #103, published by Harvey in March 1960. Cover shows Sad Sack on swing, crashing his feet through Jeep's windshield towards Sarge. Baker has signed at lower right. Margins have some handwritten editorial notations in pencil, including title, issue number and publication month. Blue pencil printing note at bottom. Lower left corner has staple and artboard shows some scattered handling wear/aging. Fine overall w/art remaining clean and Exc.
