Item Description
11.5x12.5" trimmed artboard w/pen and ink original art by Sad Sack creator George Baker (1915-1975) for Sad Sack #109, published by Harvey in Sep. 1960. Cover shows Sad Sack sitting in ditch, other soldiers jumping on his head to cross ditch. Baker has signed at lower right. Margins have some handwritten editorial notations in pencil, including title abbreviation, issue number and publication month. Top left corner has staple and artboard shows some scattered handling wear/aging. VF overall w/art remaining clean and Exc.
