Item Description
Lot of five items relating to late 1950s/early 1960s Matey bath soap/shampoo premium promotions. Lot includes 12x18" single sided store sign noting premium ship w/box of bath soap and premium rocket toy w/bottle of shampoo. Some lt. corner tip wear but still Exc. overall. Unused 10.5x15-3/8" thin cardboard shelf talker features similar graphics/text. NM. 8.5x11" glossy four-page retailer's folder details "Matey Space Promotion" that included launching "Matey" Nike Missile and Mercury Capsule premium space toys. Folder has some scattered handling wear and is VF overall. Comes w/letter detailing packaging Matey product and premiums. Exc. Lot also includes 8.5x12.75" assembled Matey bath soap powder box flat w/"Action Rocket Toy" premium offer. Back panel has image of premium as well as text on the American Space Program. NM. All are rare and first we've offered in our 55 years. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold and comes with LOA.
