Item Description
8.5x11" photocopy (xerographic print) on thin white stock produced before the show for promotion. Concert featured opening bands Subhumans (UK), Fright Wig, Scream, The Breeze and Sea Hags playing at The Farm in SF, CA. Art by Winston Smith, the DK collaborator known for his cut and paste anti-establishment punk surrealism. Here he utilized a 1950s image from a Barbasol shaving cream can. This image was later used on the 1987 album cover of Give Me Convenience Or Give Me Death. A clean example w/only light handling. Exc. Uncommon especially in this near file copy quality condition making this a fine artifact of DIY alternative culture around the controversial Bay Area punk band lead by Jello Biafra. DK's hadn't released a full length album since 1982's Plastic Surgery Disasters and were gearing up for an October 1985 release of their third studio album Frankenchrist.
