Item Description
3-3/8"x5-3/8" vintage silver gelatin postcard depicting 12 team members dressed in full uniform along with two gentlemen dressed in formal attire and posed on a ball field. Photographer's credit on left side indicates "W.C. Rich, Frankfort, NY". Matching postcard for the next lot depicts the opposing ball club for the day's upcoming contest, the Troy Trojans. Dating of this postcard is approximate based on the uniform style presented as the Albany Senators played in the Class B New York State League from 1899-1916, finishing in fourth place in 1907 with a final record of 75-56 under manager, Jack O'Brien. Image retains superb clarity with unused large border, typically reserved for messages, to right of photo. Unused postcard back remains blank with no significant condition issues present. VF.
