Item Description
3.5x5.5" vintage matte postcard depicting 10 team members in full uniform posed inside a studio with period baseball equipment in the foreground. Identification in upper right-hand corner states "Mohawks of Portland, Maine" and indicates that this ball club is an amateur team and one of the best in the state. Clarity of the image is excellent, hand written message by a team member appears in the lower right-hand corner. Lt. corner wear present with lt. creasing to the upper right-hand corner. Undivided postcard back has been postally used with a cancellation date of December 20, 1907. Fine. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
