Item Description
3.3x5.5" vintage matte postcard depicting 10 team members in full uniform and posed on a ball field. Identification at bottom reads "Hillsboro High School 1913". With no further identifying information available, we believe that based on the long sleeve uniforms being worn and the campus opening date of 1913, Hillsboro High School in Hillsboro, Oregon is the most likely source of this photo. Clarity of the image presented is superb and includes examples of period baseball equipment. Unused postcard back remains blank with no significant condition issues present. CYKO stamp box on back dates the postcard to 1904-1920's, which is consistent with the subject matter pictured. Exc. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
