Item Description
3-3/8x5-3/8" vintage silver gelatin postcard depicting 12 team members in full uniform along with the team manager dressed in formal attire and seasted in front row, center and posed inside a studio. All player identifications a printed below the photo along with their positions on the field and location in the photograph. Bottom designates team as "Champions Kenosha Factory League 1913-1914-1915". We were unable to obtain any additional information about this club, likely a company/town squad taking on all comers in their local area. Lower right-hand corner exhibits wear/staining, scattered lt. staining along the left side. Divided postcard back has been postally used with a cancellation date of Nov. 8, 1915. Fine. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
