3.5X5.5" vintage silver gelatin postcard depicting 10 team members in full uniform along with one gentleman dressed in formal attire seated at center along with a young team mascot posed inside a studio with period baseball equipment visible in the foreground. Identification at top of photo reads "1905-World's Champions-1906"/Owosso, Mich. Westside Indoor Base Ball Team'. We have been unable to obtain any additional information about this club, likely a company/town squad taking on all comers in their local area. Image quality is superb w/lt. corner wear present along with blank right-hand margin for addressee message. Undivided back remains blank and unused. Lt. foxing visible around the edges. VF. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
