Item Description
Illustrated cardboard box contains 4-5/8" tall painted die-cast metal and plastic action figure depicting the boy robot star of the Japanese manga (Japanese comic books) series first published in 1952. Made in Japan for the Japanese market by Popy in 1974, box features Japanese text and "GA-62" designation. Box is complete w/original foam packing and has .5" puncture to one side and shows moderate corner tip wear. Toy features spring-loaded fists and boots that fire at the touch of a button as well as chest plate that flips down to reveal images of characters from the manga which revolve via knob on back. Figure comes w/pegged plastic display stand, extra fists and all paperwork. Complete and NM. Great design and detail.
