Item Description
Original photo illustrated box contains 8.75" tall tin litho and plastic wind-up w/built-in key. Made in Japan for the Japanese market by Popy, 1970s. Space Ironmen Kyodyne is a Japanese tokusatsu (any live-action film or TV drama that features considerable use of special effects) sci-fi/superhero series that premiered in 1976 and ran for 48 episodes. Offered here is Grounzel, who is able to transform into a car-like form known as the Grouncar (toy does not transform). Box shows moderate wear w/edge creases and splits, corner tip/edge wear and slight fade to one side and top panel. Back panel has two punctures. Box is VG. Wind-up has on/off key on back and works. Toy shows just trace scattered paint wear w/a couple hairline scratches to tin litho body and a few tiny paint rubs to soft vinyl head. VF/Exc.
