Item Description
Lot of four items signed by actors from the 1954 Universal Monsters classic Creature From The Black Lagoon. Two glossy photos (each approx. 8x10") have been signed by Creature suit actors. Black and white photo has been inscribed/signed "Aloha - Welcome To My 'Black Lagoon'" by Creature land actor Ben Chapman (1928-2008). Chapman has also added "Hawaii" notation, referencing his longtime association w/the state. Color photo has been signed by underwater Creature actor/stuntman Ricou Browning (1930-2023). Both have signed in blue felt tip pen. Lot also includes 3x5" green index card w/black felt tip pen sketch of the Gill-Man by Browning, who has also signed card. Some small age spots at top, but o/w Exc. 3-5/8x6.5" first day cover (FDC) envelope for "Coral Reefs USA - Series of 1980" has been signed in red felt tip pen by actress Julie Adams (1926-2019), the object of the Creature's desires as well as the Creature himself, Ricou Browning in black felt tip pen. Exc. Comes w/JSA COAs.
