Item Description
6.75x10.5" comic backing board features blue felt tip pen sketch original art by horror author Robert Bloch (1917-1994), best known for his 1959 novel Psycho, which in turn served as the basis of Alfred Hitchcock's famed 1960 horror film of the same name. Sketch depicts African elephant, a reference to Bloch's early pulp work, in particular 1939's Death Is An Elephant. Bloch has signed at lower left, adding "1993" date. Exc. Comes w/JSA COA.
