3-5/8x6.5". Avery Island, LA postmark June 12, 1971 w/"Wildlife Conservation" imprint and four-stamp block. FDC has been boldly signed in black felt tip pen by celebrated children's author/illustrator Maurice Send (1928-2012), best known for his best-selling 1963 picture book Where The Wild Things Are. The "Wild"life imprint makes for a nice reference to Sendak's beloved book. Top corner show lt. wear but o/w FDC is Exc. w/strong signature. Comes w/JSA COA.
