Item Description
4.75x4.75x13" tall illustrated cardboard box contains 12" tall figural "Rocket Lite" flashlight by Ray-O-Vac Company, c. 1952. Box has great graphics of Commander Buzz Corry using Rocket Lite, rocketship w/alien spacecraft and Earth in bkg. Side panel text describes features/actions and mentions "Space Patrol" TV show as well as flashlight, bike light and whistle features. Box is complete w/cardboard inserts and has original issued Ray-O-Vac Leak Proof Batteries. Box has lt. aging/wear. A few lt. edge scuffs on one side and a small tear on an inner flap. VF overall. Flashlight's tail fins have "Commander Buzz Corry - Official Space Patrol Rocket Lite" and is complete w/pliable rubber point tip. Decals show some aging. Flashlight untested. Exc. One of only a few boxed examples and only example with batteries that we've offered in our 57 years. As nice as they come and rare. Michael Lartigaut Collection.
