Item Description
Original box w/illustrated lid contains classic 13" tall, mostly tin robot designed after Robby The Robot from the classic Sci-Fi film "Forbidden Planet." Made in Japan by Nomura, c. 1957. Box is evenly aged and has no corner splits. Box bottom has side puncture from antenna. Box is VG. Toy did not function when tested. Battery compartments in legs have some oxidation on sides but contacts are clean. Arms are manually adjustable from side to side and original rubber hands remain pliable. Plastic dome remains clear and free of cracks. Body paint has scattered spider-webbing (mostly on legs) but remains exceptionally bright and glossy otherwise. Appearance remains VG.
