Item Description
16x21x14" deep box contains 18" tall hard plastic robot w/attached remote control unit. No inner inserts in box. Ideal Toy Corp. ©1961. Box lid has scattered dust soiling/aging, rest of box has some color rubs and 1" corner pieces missing from top flap from opening. Tape repair on inside of box at upper corner tear. Displays VG overall. Instruction sheet is present w/lt. wear aging. VG. The hard plastic, hand-held remote control unit is attached to the robot by a wire. This unit has a number of different settings and can also activate the robot by speaking into the top microphone portion. Toy worked and ran forward and turns right or left while eyes roll when tested. Toy also fires ball missiles (8) from its arms and 4.75" long plastic rockets (2) from its head. These rockets do not easily latch but did function when tested. "Robot Commando" sticker on shoulder in place. Complete toy shows scattered lt. aging/wear but appearance remains VF.
