VF. White Zombie was touring on their first LP Soul Crusher, the first to feature movie sound clips that would become a signature element of their work. The album was among Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain's favorites, and he can be seen in the background of images from this show. Mudhoney formed in Jan of '88 from the ashes of Green River. They had recorded for SubPop in late April of 1988 and would release their debut single Touch Me I'm Sick a little less than three months after this show.
