Item Description
2.5x3-1/8". Set of 30, numbered as 100-129. ACC# R108. One of just three card issues by this company. This set was not formally named by the company, hence the hobby-assigned moniker of "Pulver's Pictures" as the wrapper itself just reads "Wham Gum." Card fronts have color art, descriptive text backs. Cards are marked "The Greatest Assortment Of Picture Cards Ever Compiled." Wrapper notes card content includes "Oddities, Guns, Excitement, Cannons, Tortures, Spills, Wild Life, Adventure." Many cards feature weaponry from swords to tanks but also wild animals and more. Some titles are: David And Goliath, Gargantua (Gorilla), Bombing Planes, Civil War Cannon, Elephant Hunting. The CGC grades for the set breakdown as follows- 8 NM-Mint(1), 7 NM(2), 6.5 EX-Mint+(1), 6 EX-Mint(3), 5.5 EX+(6), 5 EX(11), 4.5 VG-EX+(4), 4 VG-EX(1) and 3 VG(1). The set has a GPA of 5.31. Set comes w/6x6.5" wax paper wrapper. Includes small images relating to some of the card art including Gargantua. Scattered creases as originally folded. Some scattered pin holes and few small tears.
