Item Description
2.5x3". Set of 24. ACC# R48-1. Same cards as previous lot but this is the second version in which the names of the stars were removed from fronts. This complete set includes #1 W.C. Fields. The CGC grades for the set breakdown as follows- 8 NM-Mint(1), 7 NM(2), 6.5 EX-Mint+(1), 6 EX-Mint(11), 5 EX(2), 4.5 VG-EX+(3), 4 VG-EX(1), 3.5 VG+(2) and 2.5 Good+(1). This set has a GPA of 5.9. Set comes w/4.5x6" wax paper wrapper. Features portraits of movie stars along w/detailed information on contest and prizes. Includes a coupon on bottom margin that was meant to be clipped and sent in. Scattered creases as originally folded, few pin holes and .25" tear at top left corner of center design where folded around a card. Still clean and w/strong color. Fine. Rarely offered as a complete set and w/wrapper. John Grossman Collection.
