Item Description
10-5/8x15-7/8" artboard has pen and ink original art by Curt Swan (1920-1996), w/inks by Bob Oksner (1916-2007). Art is from same issue as previous lot and art from story page 11 features seven panels, showing Solarman arriving to steal money from the bank robbers Superman just thwarted before disappearing. Superman is pictured in all panels. Top margin has stamped title and inked issue/page numbers and publication month. Back has preliminary inked original art of sections/features of car as well as DC copyright stamp. Swan has signed last panel in black felt tip pen. Scattered handling wear/aging w/strip of tape staining at top/bottom center margin. Art remains clean and Exc. Third and fourth panels have partial text strip replacement w/white tape on reverse.
