Item Description
10-5/8x15-7/8" artboard has pen and ink original art w/screentone accents by Curt Swan (1920-1996), w/inks by Bob Oksner (1916-2007). Art is from same issue as previous lot and art from story page 13 features six panels, showing Inter-Gang assassin scaling exterior of building in an attempt to kill Clark Kent. He is promptly killed by alien saboteur Xviar, who plots the destruction of the Earth. Top margin has stamped title and inked issue/page numbers and publication month. Back has DC copyright stamp and some stray inking. Swan has signed last panel in black felt tip pen. Scattered handling wear/aging w/strip of tape staining at top/bottom center margin. Art remains clean and Exc.
