Item Description
8.5x17x1.25" deep box contains three different gameboards by Lutz & Sheinkman. ©1934 John F. Dille Company. Box lid has slight fade at left and shows scattered edged/corner tip wear w/one side panel tear and some scattered moisture staining to top left corner. Underside of box has scattered moisture staining. Box is VG/Fine overall. Gameboards measure 16" square and each has a large elaborate space scene at center surrounded by additional small illustrations of Buck Rogers, Wilma Deering, rockets, weapons, planets, etc. Game titles are "Siege Of Gigantica, Cosmic Rocket Wars" and "Search For The Secrets Of Atlantis." Some scattered rippling to surface labels, but boards remain clean and Exc. Smaller inset box contains 39 of 40 cards (w/bw photocopy replacement) and 12 wooden playing pieces. About half of the cards are illustrated w/Buck Rogers characters and the rest have numbers/text. Cards show just slightest aging w/little to no wear and are Exc. Box lid/bottom have three corner splits w/staining from old tape repairs at two corners of box bottom (w/staining at three lid corners as well). Box is VG. Gene Seger Buck Rogers Collection.
