Item Description
This 11x17" promotional folder is billed as "The Big New Buck Rogers Booth-Builder" and serves as a promotional/ordering tool for stores to stock Buck Rogers merchandise "For 25th Century Holiday Displays." Issued 1934-1935. Main portion of folder features full color illustrations of Buck and Wilma Deering w/rocketships that was part of a display (shown on back in bw photos) that reads "Buck Rogers 25th Century Store." Items for display are listed for sale at bottom center. Photos on back show displays/display diagram as well as popular merchandise including Electric Caster set, Disintegrator Pistol, Marx rocketship, playsuit and more. Folded as issued, folder is evenly aged and shows some wear along fold lines. Fine overall. We know of none of these advertising displays to have survived and this rare promotional piece is the first example we've seen in our 57 years. Gene Seger Buck Rogers Collection.
