Item Description
Pair of artboards w/pen and ink original art by Rick Yager (1909-1995) for the Buck Rogers daily strip. 5-5/8x16.75" artboard w/screentone accents features art for Nov. 10, 1949, w/three panels showing Buck Rogers recovering from attack in jungle. Two panels have text replacement strips. First strip has copyright strip w/some tape staining and top left margin has some tape residue. VF. 5-7/8x17" artboard is undated but c. 1950s and shows Earth's Military Defense G.H.Q. attempting to contact Buck Rogers concerning a "D.T.E." (Dangerous Threat to Earth). Three panels, w/Yager signing last panel. Some lt. dust soiling but Exc. overall.
