Item Description
6.5x8x2.5" deep box originally held 12 "Delicious Fudge Bars In 6 Exciting Shapes" made by Hendrie's Inc. of Milton, MA and released as "A Sicle Product." ©1966 NPP, Inc. Box had four Batman cut-outs, including two portrait cards (Riddler card intact, other has been cut out as intended) and full body cut-out standees of Batman and Batmobile as it appeared in the 1966 Batman TV show. Box features same design on front/back main panels, showing illustration of Batman throwing one of "12 Fudge Missiles." This frozen dairy confection seems to have been either a short-lived regional product or was never fully put into production. Ares where card was cut out has had piece of cardboard crudely taped in place and box has additional tape closing opened box at opposite end (top and bottom of Batman standee panel). Aside from removed card, box shows moderate handling wear w/scattered edge/corner creases and dust soiling. VG overall, but despite its condition issues, it is still the most complete box we know of, the only other example known to us consisting of just the front panel of the box. One of the rarest Batman items we have offered in our 58 years.
