Item Description

Lot consists of mixed media original art by Hawley Pratt and Al White for complete Little Golden Book published by Golden Press, ©1964 Independent Television Corporation. Based on the 1960s British children's sci-fi TV series featuring "Supermarionation" created by Gerry and Silvia Anderson. 9.5x11.25" Charlotte illustration board features cover art, showing Colonel Steve Zodiac and Doctor Venus riding jetmobiles outside the Fireball XL5 spaceship. Inked number at lower right margin, but art remains clean and Exc. Comes w/cover production stat w/pair of overlays for title treatment. 24 illustration boards ranging in size from 6.75x8" to 6.75x8.75" comprise the complete interior pages of book, including title pages and copyright pages as well as single double-page spread. Each features original art scene and some have pasted text stats; 13 have missing text stats w/some minor scattered staining to some of these areas. VF overall, but art remains clean and Exc.
